Why

This blog is nothing special.  Nothing fancy.

I just wanted to have a place to share what is going on with our family.

Over the past couple of years we have had some great times and some really hard times.

We have had some big changes.

Often we get asked how things are going, or what's going on.
Here, I hope to offer a place for people to stop in and see the latest with us.

We have also learned a lot over the past couple of years.

We have learned to be parents.

We have learned about foster care and adoption.

We have learned about community.

We have learned about ourselves.

And we have continued to learn about the Lord. 

We have seen Him work in many different ways.

One of the biggest things I think I have learned recently is to take things one day at a time.

Enjoy the good times and cherish the precious memories you're making.

Those special times will end and you are not guaranteed another day.

Hard times and days will come.  

Trust the Lord and lean on the loved ones around you.  

But, those days also will end.  

As long as the Lord leaves us on this earth, at the end of the day we will move on...

on to tomorrow.
